Job Summary and Responsibilities: Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care as a Progressive Care Registered Nurse. Work in collaboration with medical providers to provide essential pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. Advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional healthcare experience. Assess patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in patient status. Perform care procedures as ordered by medical providers. Document all aspects of patient care in the medical record in a timely and comprehensive manner. Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses closely. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in caring for cardiac and medical-surgical patients. Qualifications: Current RN licensure. Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 90 days of hire.
