Join Fulton Bank as a Managing Director in our Corporate & Industrial (C&I) Syndications team, where you will take on a pivotal role in expanding our syndication platform. This position allows for a hybrid or remote work schedule, providing you the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life. As the Managing Director, you will be instrumental in originating and distributing syndicated credit facilities while engaging with the buy-side market. Your expertise will be vital in developing underwriting frameworks and exploring new business verticals like sponsor finance and franchise lending. Key Responsibilities: Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of syndicated C&I credit facilities. Drive buy-side syndication strategies by collaborating with lead banks, identifying participation opportunities, and enhancing portfolio construction. Establish and nurture relationships with institutional investors, participant banks, and private equity sponsors to facilitate the sourcing and distribution of syndicated transactions. Develop and implement underwriting policies and syndication frameworks that support scalable and marketable deal structures. Partner with Relationship Managers and the Credit team to define deal terms, pricing, and structures that are in line with market standards and investor interests. Provide leadership for future trade desk developments, focusing on secondary market engagement, pricing intelligence, and liquidity management. Mentor and guide junior syndication staff, ensuring that they align with strategic goals and execution standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is required. A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in C&I syndications, encompassing sell-side origination, buy-side participation, and trade desk operations. A proven track record in managing complex transactions and enhancing syndication platforms across various sectors. Expertise in sponsorship lending and high-growth verticals, showcasing your ability to devise competitive multi-bank solutions for sustained strategic growth. In-depth knowledge of syndicated loan structures and Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) documentation standards is essential. Strong connections with buy-side and sell-side institutions, including lead arrangers and private equity sponsors. Proficient in developing underwriting policies and syndication frameworks. Understanding of trade desk operations, secondary loan trading, and market pricing dynamics is preferred. This opportunity also includes various additional compensation components such as eligibility for equity and a short-term incentive compensation plan based on individual and company performance.
