Department Overview DRN, a Motorola Solutions company, provides LPR cameras that scan license plates daily, creating an extensive historical database. This network aids clients in generating hits and recoveries while expanding our daily scan numbers. In this role, you will guide field technicians, national installers, and customers in the installation and troubleshooting of DRN LPR systems. NOTE: Hybrid position with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote along with significant travel required This role involves regular visits to customer sites across the U.S. Your main goal is to deliver exceptional customer service, troubleshooting, installing, and supporting clients with equipment like mobile and fixed cameras, solar panels, and communication boxes. Satisfaction with our services and timely, accurate support is paramount. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with customers and sales personnel to uncover tailored solutions. Assess installation sites and make recommendations for camera systems and components. Test systems to ensure optimal functionality. Install camera systems at evaluated sites and resolve any post-installation issues. Ensure timely and precise system setups. Provide courteous and knowledgeable troubleshooting support through various channels. Collaborate with sales, project managers, and development teams to address and resolve client concerns. Adjust systems (mechanical, software, or hardware) for functionality in different environments. Meet deadlines and provide accurate completion assessments during installations. Effectively communicate field issues with detailed descriptions for debugging. Maintain logs of customer interactions and tasks for effective client tracking. Regularly update shared documents related to training materials, customer requests, and completed tasks. Preferred Qualifications: Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a strong ability to work independently. Experience working from home efficiently with minimal supervision. Detail-oriented, organized, and self-sufficient. Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken. Strong interpersonal skills and initiative in problem-solving. Ability to travel as needed. Reliable transportation with a clean driving record. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. Creative problem-solving skills. Technical support and troubleshooting experience, with an emphasis on networking: Basic networking knowledge, including IP Address configuration. Familiarity with Windows Command Prompt and Linux Terminal. Understanding of wired communication systems, including LAN and WAN, with proficiency in installation and configuration. Highly Preferred Qualifications: One year of IT experience or CompTIA A+ Certification. Target Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 USD. This salary range varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Actual offers will be tailored to individual candidates. Basic Requirements: Must be able to pass a background check. Must possess a valid driver's license. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience with Google Suite or Microsoft Office is needed. You must be able to lift and operate 25 - 50 lbs.
