About the Team: The Audit & Assurance team at Crowe delivers traditional attestation services, alongside accounting and consulting support for applying accounting standards. Learn more about our Audit & Assurance team! We are hiring for full-time or seasonal roles. We’re seeking Senior Audit Associates with experience in the Financial Services sector, including Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, Insurance, and Fintech. In this role, you will develop leadership skills, gain in-depth industry knowledge, and build strong relationships. Your responsibilities will include: Managing client engagements from inception to completion, which encompasses financial statement preparation, engagement staffing, project scheduling, and administrative tasks. Supervising, training, and mentoring junior staff and interns on the audit process while evaluating their performance during engagement reviews. Fostering strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction, collaborating with client management at various levels to deliver audit services. Promoting teamwork and collaboration within your audit team to tackle client issues identified throughout the audit. Conducting research and analyzing financial statements and audit concerns using electronic databases, utilizing audit software to compile financial data. Interfacing with key client management to gather information, resolve audit-related challenges, and propose recommendations for improvement. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of recent public accounting external audit experience. Experience in external audit, specifically with Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, Insurance, and Fintech clients. Strong organizational, interpersonal, technical, and accounting skills to function efficiently with clients and staff while fostering positive relationships. Prior experience in engagement management, staff review, and supervision. Ability to multitask effectively, as planning, executing, and concluding several engagements may overlap. Proficiency in conducting research on technical matters prior to manager review. This role requires meeting the educational criteria for CPA certification in your home office state; having a CPA license is advantageous. Willingness to work additional hours as required and travel to various client locations. The wage range for this position is between $63,500.00 - $142,000.00 annually, reflective of skills, experience, certifications, and market needs.
