As a Registered Nurse in the Electrophysiology Lab, you will play a crucial role in providing patient-centered care and improving health outcomes. Your expertise is essential to advance the practice of nursing and ensure exceptional care for our patients. Key Responsibilities: Assess and prioritize patient care needs in alignment with their treatment expectations. Perform patient admissions, assessments, and ongoing evaluations throughout the care process. Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Provide direct and indirect patient care during diagnostic and interventional cases and procedures. Effectively communicate with physicians regarding patient condition and any changes. Manage patients experiencing life-threatening dysrhythmias or hemodynamic changes. Educate patients about procedures and assess their understanding. Oversee scheduling and inventory management within the Cardiology department. Maintain accurate narcotic counts daily. Qualifications: Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License (Texas license needed within 90 days if utilizing Compact License). Bachelors or Associate Degree in Nursing. A minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN). Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 30 days of hire. National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
