Job Description: As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, you will guide organizations through the challenges of an evolving threat landscape and stringent regulatory demands by delivering high-impact, pragmatic cybersecurity and risk solutions. Collaborating with clients across diverse sectors, you will assess their cybersecurity posture, design comprehensive security programs, evaluate IT controls, and implement transformative strategies, including the responsible integration of artificial intelligence into security practices. This role is perfect for professionals who excel in dynamic consulting environments, thrive on tackling complex challenges, and are dedicated to delivering results that facilitate business success while ensuring protection against risks. Key Responsibilities: Lead or assist in cybersecurity risk assessments, IT internal audits, and regulatory compliance efforts (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, CMMC). Evaluate and test IT and application controls, security configurations, and integration security measures. Provide expert guidance on security architecture, identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and cloud security across platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Assess emerging technologies, including AI/ML integration in business processes, emphasizing secure and responsible implementations. Conduct assessments to enhance business resiliency and incident response readiness. Assist clients in aligning their cybersecurity initiatives with industry-leading frameworks (NIST CSF, NIST 800.53, CIS, etc.). Communicate findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders, including C-suite and board-level executives, with clarity and precision. Act as a trusted advisor to client security and risk functions, aiding in the development and operationalization of comprehensive cybersecurity programs. Serve as an extension of client teams, leading or supporting program execution efforts, including control implementation, reporting, and ongoing improvement initiatives. Mentor and guide junior consultants, contributing to team development and the sharing of internal knowledge. Engage in practice development endeavors, fostering service innovation and thought leadership. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, risk advisory, or similar consulting roles. Progress toward or possession of certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or similar credentials. Proficient understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix) and databases (SQL, Oracle). Familiarity with regulatory compliance and cybersecurity frameworks. Strong project management, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and technical writing abilities, adept at tailoring messages for both technical and executive audiences. Experience or interest in AI and automation tools within cybersecurity, including secure implementation practices and risk assessments.
