Job Description The Mission Critical Oracle Database Product Management team is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional who is passionate about high availability (HA), scalability, disaster recovery, and continuous availability. If you excel in observability and chaos engineering, and have a track record of automating incident management to improve system reliability, we want to connect with you! Join our high-energy team where you will manage product responsibilities for all facets of availability, data protection, and scalability regarding Oracle Database and Oracle Database Cloud Services. Your contributions will leverage significant technologies such as Data Guard, Active Data Guard, and Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), including their integration with Oracle Applications and Middleware. You'll also oversee high availability deployments of Oracle Databases across various Cloud environments. This position is based in Oracle's Redwood Shores, California office, and offers flexible remote work options from other U.S. locations, with some potential for domestic and international travel. Visa and work authorization transfers are supported. Responsibilities As a key member of our team, you will work alongside elite software developers and product managers to drive the development and marketing of Oracle's innovative high availability features for Oracle Database and Oracle Database Cloud Services. Your responsibilities include: Gathering and validating customer and internal team insights on high availability and data protection to inform development. Leading the launch of cloud services that deliver high-performance software solutions to enhance application availability. Creating compelling marketing materials including technical briefs, success stories, and presentations to showcase Oracle's HA technology. Fostering strong relationships with key customers, advocating for their success, and developing references for Oracle's products. Promoting Oracle's availability features at trade shows, customer sites, and industry events. Job Requirements BS/MS in Computer Science or related field; an MBA is a plus. Outstanding communication, presentation, analytical, and teamwork skills. A blend of applications and database administration experience with relevant cloud exposure. Experience engaging with a diverse IT audience, from CTO/CIO to IT administrators. Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively manage interactions with internal teams and customers. Compensation and Benefits The hiring range for this role is $82,500 to $199,500 per year, along with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
