OBJECTIVE: Your goal will be to meet and exceed sales targets in SaaS, Software, Hardware, and Training solutions. You will primarily focus on products such as Point Of Sale systems, online payment services, Menu Planning, Communication, and Inventory solutions. Your target clientele will include school districts with 6 or more buildings. PROJECTED SALES ACTIVITIES: Generate, qualify, process, and advance leads through various lead-generation methods. Participate in National, State, or Regional shows as requested. Conduct cold calling and other lead generation activities. Deliver product demonstrations both online and in person as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with regional Food Service Management companies. Develop a strategic territory plan with targeted accounts and focus areas for new product cross-selling opportunities. Assist in client installations, deployments, and training as necessary. OBLIGATIONS: Familiarize yourself with K-12 School Food Service Industry practices, including the USDA School Meals Initiative and Child Nutrition Program. Maintain accurate prospect account data in Salesforce. Regularly update sales forecasting in Salesforce. Become proficient in various business applications, such as Salesforce, Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Outreach, Gong, Zoom, and Teams. Monitor expenses in alignment with company policy. SKILLS REQUIRED: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to food service personnel and senior executives. Proven ability to influence decisions and behaviors effectively. Strong analytical skills for making informed decisions based on research and analysis. Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting. A collaborative spirit with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, timelines, and metrics. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Three to four years of related sales experience and/or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable. LANGUAGE ABILITY: You must have the capability to effectively present and communicate information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, colleagues, and clients. MATH ABILITY: You should be comfortable working with general mathematical concepts, including probability, statistical inference, forecasting, and logistics. Competence in calculating rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting graphs is necessary. REASONING ABILITY: You should possess the ability to solve practical problems and manage a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. You must be able to interpret different forms of instructions and have effective problem-solving skills, knowing when to seek assistance when needed. COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency in Salesforce, Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Outreach, Gong, Zoom, and Teams is required to perform this job successfully. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role requires regular sitting, using hands and arms, and the ability to walk and talk or hear. COMPENSATION: The expected base salary for this role is $90,000 plus commission. Your actual base pay will be determined based on your location, experience, and other job-related factors. There is an opportunity for uncapped commission compensation, which can enhance your earnings significantly in your first year.
