Join our team as an Asbestos Project Supervisor, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients during asbestos mitigation efforts. Qualified candidates should have the capability to perform asbestos removal tasks and be familiar with specialized equipment. This role also involves supervising Asbestos Technicians and ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations teams to thoroughly understand job requirements prior to project initiation. Effectively communicate job expectations, including schedules, work plans, safety procedures, and emergency protocols. Enforce company policies and regulatory standards by taking appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary. Ensure all team members are present with their identification badges and that job records are properly documented. Maintain compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements throughout the project. Document operational or environmental data accurately and in a timely manner. Oversee hazardous waste disposal, ensuring compliance with proper methods. Manage equipment and provide training to employees on safety procedures and equipment usage. Conduct fit tests for respirator compliance at the beginning of each week and new job assignments. Complete necessary incident investigations and submit reports as required. Requirements Able to identify products and disposal requirements with training. Possession of an Asbestos Supervisor License and CDPHE Asbestos Certification with Medical Card. Current Lead and Hazardous Waste Certifications are mandatory. Must possess a valid driver's license as per company policy. Strong attention to detail, professional demeanor, and positive work ethic are essential. Fluency in the English language is required. Physical Demands Frequent lifting of items weighing over 50 lbs and occasional assisted lifting of heavier items. Ability to work in tight spaces and perform various physical tasks including standing, bending, and kneeling. Effective use of mobile devices for data collection.
