In this full-time position, you will ensure the seamless operation of electrical systems and equipment by conducting maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. As a Maintenance Electrician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams Performing routine inspections of electrical systems Installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting systems Inspecting electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers Identifying electrical problems using various testing devices Repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures with hand tools and power tools Adhering to state and local building regulations, including the National Electric Code Directing and training team members in the installation, maintenance, or repair of electrical systems The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, possess a flexible schedule for shift work, and confidently work both independently and as part of a team. Efficient task management without the need for travel will be vital to contributing to Axillon Aerospace's overall success. Note: Applicants must be US Persons. Required Skills: Expertise in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair Proficiency with electrical testing devices and tools Ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical problems Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for electrical repairs Understanding of state and local building regulations, including the National Electric Code Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and training skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Commitment to safety and familiarity with safety protocols Effective time management skills and task prioritization Required Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in the aerospace or defense sector Experience with electrical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment Proven track record of conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance Experience working with electrical systems, including wiring, control, and lighting systems Inspecting electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers Ability to follow electrical code specifications and building regulations Experience in directing and training staff on electrical system installations and repairs Prior experience in roles with minimal supervision and a high level of initiative High school diploma or equivalent with relevant technical training Relevant certifications or licenses as an electrician are highly desirable
