Monthly celebrations and recognitions Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance Up to $5,000 in tuition reimbursement each year Key Responsibilities: Your primary responsibility as a CNA will be to provide essential care to our residents through various tasks, including: Assisting residents with bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, nail care, and dressing needs. Feeding residents, providing bedside water, snacks, and transferring them to dining areas in accordance with their dietary plans. Responding promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance, following facility protocols. Maintaining resident rooms by making beds, changing linens, and organizing personal belongings. Observing and reporting changes in residents' appetite, skin conditions, or behaviors to the appropriate staff. Providing emotional support and actively listening to residents to help them build trust and independence. Ensuring the confidentiality of residents' information and rights are protected at all times. Documenting medical records accurately in accordance with facility procedures for any vital signs and assistance provided. Complying with safety standards and infection control measures while maintaining a clean work environment. Qualifications: To qualify for this role, you should meet the following requirements: A high school diploma or GED (unless working under a student permit). Certification as a CNA in good standing with the Florida State Department of Health. CNAs transferring from other states may work for 120 days while awaiting certification. Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Excel and Word. A solid understanding of safe nursing practices as per Florida regulations. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to assist licensed nurses and follow instructions accurately. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions when necessary. Integrity and tact in dealing with residents, families, and staff. A commitment to confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Patience, enthusiasm, and a willingness to adapt to the needs of residents. A professional code of ethics and effective communication skills about residents' conditions to the appropriate team members.
