Role Overview As a Lead Network Reliability Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, building, testing, deploying, and operating highly scalable solutions to support Oracle's next-generation Cloud Infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in managing a vast array of devices within complex distributed systems. We seek a strong coder with a deep understanding of networking and distributed systems who values simplicity, scalability, and collaborative teamwork. A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and is ready to navigate ambiguity, you will manage multiple projects effectively while contributing to the team’s overall success. You will also participate in an on-call rotation. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in network and software development Proficiency in Java/Python/C++ and Object-Oriented programming Experience with Linux Proficiency in network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, RSVP-TE, EVPN, VxLAN, etc.) Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with cloud computing and networking technologies Experience with large Enterprises, ISPs, or Cloud providers Experience in developing service-oriented systems and REST APIs Proven track record in network automation or device management solutions Experience in network support roles in large ISPs or cloud environments Familiarity with network modeling and programming standards such as YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF Experience with ticket systems like Jira and version control systems like Git Understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies Strong technical knowledge in cloud networking, high-performance computing, and GPU systems Disclaimer: Certain customer-facing roles may require compliance with applicable health and immunization mandates. Compensation and Benefits: Oracle offers a competitive salary range of $79,100 to $158,200 per year, along with potential bonuses and equity.
