General ManagerButcher & Bee East Nashville East Nashville, TN Position SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, financial performance, culture, and daily operations of Butcher & Bee East Nashville. This role ensures operational excellence, profitability, team development, and an exceptional guest experience while upholding the values and standards of the Company. The General Manager serves as the senior leader of the restaurant and is accountable for financial results, people development, and long-term business growth. This position reports directly to Company Leadership. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversee all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house performance Ensure consistent execution of service standards and guest experience Maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained facility Drive accountability across all shifts and departments Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations Financial PerformanceOwn and manage the restaurant’s P&L Drive profitability and maintain strong cost controls across labor, food, beverage, and operating expenses Analyze monthly financial statements and implement corrective action plans as needed Develop and execute strategies to improve revenue and margins Maintain accurate financial reporting and forecasting Team Leadership & CultureRecruit, hire, train, and develop management and hourly team members Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development planning Ensure proper staffing levels to meet operational demands Lead by example in professionalism, integrity, and hospitality Strategic GrowthIdentify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and profitability Partner with leadership to align restaurant performance with broader company goals Participate in quarterly performance and development reviews Support long-term growth initiatives and future expansion planning Performance ExpectationsThe General Manager is expected to: Achieve or maintain profitability Improve performance in areas previously operating at a loss Work toward sustainable annual profit margins of approximately 6% or greater Build a strong leadership bench within the restaurant Maintain high team retention and guest satisfaction standards Performance is evaluated through financial results, operational execution, team development, and overall leadership effectiveness. Compensation StructureThis is a full-time exempt salaried position. The General Manager is eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to restaurant profitability, calculated based on bottom-line P&L performance. Bonus eligibility is contingent upon accurate financial reporting and active employment at the time of payout. Specific compensation details are outlined in a separate offer agreement.
