Physician Assistant | Urgent Care Location: Goldsboro, NC Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Join Our Team as a Physician Assistant – Family Practice & Emergency Medicine Are you a dedicated Physician Assistant ready to make a real difference in community healthcare? We are seeking experienced, compassionate providers to deliver exceptional urgent care services in dynamic, fast-paced environments. This is a unique opportunity to work across multiple sites, treating both adult and pediatric patients, ensuring timely, high-quality care while enjoying a supportive team environment. In this role, you will be vital in managing high-volume patient care independently, utilizing your expertise to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions including minor procedures such as l&d, lac repairs, and ear irrigations. Your proficiency with EMR systems like Epic, soft skills, and ability to handle diverse patient needs will be key to your success. You will be operating within urgent care settings, serving patients ages six months and up, contributing to community health and well-being. What We Require: Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience as a PA or APRN in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine Board certification (e.g., NCCPA, Family NP certification) Valid PA license, BLS, NC DEA certification Proficiency in Epic EMR system Ability to independently see and treat all patients at the center Excellent communication and soft skills for one-on-one patient interactions and teamwork Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, professional attitude Preferred Additional Skills & Experience: Experience performing minor procedures (I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigations) Healthcare experience working with both adult and pediatric populations Familiarity with high-volume, fast-paced clinical environments Willingness to support multiple locations within a 60-mile radius Education & Experience: Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program At least 12 months of relevant clinical experience Other Requirements: Credentialing and onboarding through VHS; timely provision of necessary documentation Participation in EMR/EHR training sessions scheduled on set dates Must pass a clinical screening exam before onboarding Travel reimbursement limited to mileage; no travel or lodging costs reimbursed Support staff include center managers, medical assistants, and supervising physicians This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00, with weekly direct deposit pay schedule, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), robust referral bonus program, and paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws.
