Job Description

Interventional pain management practice in Austin, Dripping Springs, Kyle and San Marcos, TX seeks a certified, talented, patient-oriented Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone that enjoys being in a team-oriented environment with a lot of potential for growth and expansion. No in-patient hospital rounds or call. Responsibilities: Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as MRIs, X-rays, interventional pain procedures, and urinalysis; interprets test results. Instruct and counsel patients; promote wellness and health maintenance. Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans. Comply with protocols, procedures, rules and regulations. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by keeping up with CME requirements. Identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed; providing information pertinent to deliberations; implementing physician directives. Maintain a positive attitude, be compassionate and have great communication and problem solving skills.
