Details Float pool position covering multiple Med/Surg units including 1 East, 1 West, 2 West, 2&3 East, 3 West, 4 West, 5 West, ED, and PACU Travelers will work ED and PACU border assignments in addition to standard Med/Surg units Deceased Patient Coordinator (DPC) coverage may be required Day/night rotation schedule, 36 hours per week Frequent floating between units is expected Requirements Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required; proof of state residency required for Compact license holders Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent, equivalent Med/Surg experience required Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required Experience with chest tubes, nasogastric tubes, and post-surgical lines, tubes, and drains required Proficiency with drips including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone required Experience with trachs and laryngectomies required Telemetry experience required Complex wound care experience required Central line care, maintenance, and blood draw experience required Two manager references required for consideration Additional Information Previous float pool experience is highly preferred Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position American Traveler Job ID P-679692.
