3rd shift Registered Pharmacist Key Responsibilities Verify compounded medication orders to ensure accuracy, patient safety, and adherence to all regulatory requirements Evaluate prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and therapeutic suitability Ensure ongoing compliance with FDA 503B standards, State Board of Pharmacy regulations, and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) Work closely with both sterile and non-sterile compounding teams to support efficient workflow and production needs Contribute to quality assurance efforts and continuous process improvement initiatives Provide optional PRN and peak-period coverage, with eligibility for additional incentive compensation Supervise pharmacy technicians in packaging, labeling, and documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance Accurately enter, review, and maintain patient profiles and medication records Safeguard and ensure proper storage, handling, and documentation of controlled substances Qualifications Active Pharmacist license required (Kentucky required; additional state licensure preferred) Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required 1–2 years of pharmacist experience preferred (retail, hospital, or compounding environments acceptable) Prior experience with sterile and/or non-sterile compounding preferred Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance practices Ability and willingness to work overnight shifts Excellent attention to detail, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Competencies Demonstrated emotional intelligence and professional maturity Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting High level of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information Proven success operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges Salary Range: $125,000–$150,000 per year
