The shift will be during the night. This position is for a duration of 13 weeks. The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:3. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year experience in an Emergency Room setting. New graduates will be considered. Weekend shifts will be required every other week. This position may require floating to inpatient units as needed. The daily census in the Emergency Room is approximately 75 patients. The unit has a total of 18 beds. This role requires support for a variety of patient diagnoses, including transfer traumas. Candidates must be able to start and maintain IVs and assist in triage. Teamwork and a good attitude are crucial. Customer service skills are highly valued. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential. The facility does not require on-call duties.
