Responsibilities for a Plating Technician I include but are not limited to: • Operate metal finishing equipment and perform plating, coating, heat treating, and wet processing operations according to prescribed procedures • Load and unload parts using electric hoists and manual material handling; rack, unrack, clean, etch, degrease, and process parts through tanks • Monitor solution temperatures, maintain production logs, and conduct quality inspections to ensure product standards are met • Maintain cleanliness of tanks and work areas; assist with chemical handling, troubleshooting, and general utility work as needed Candidates for Plating Technician I must meet the following requirements to be considered: • High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing or related experience preferred • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and stand for extended 12-hour shifts • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages) and basic understanding of chemistry principles • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Must wear steel or composite toe safety shoes, safety glasses, and long sleeves • Must pass pre-employment background screening and drug test (no exceptions) What's in this Plating Technician I position for you? • Pay: $22.89 per hour (includes 12% shift differential) • Shift: 4th Shift - 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) • Weekly paycheck • $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days (based on performance and attendance) • Dedicated Onboarding Specialist & Recruiter • Access to Adecco's Aspire Academy with thousands of free upskilling courses This Plating Technician I position is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.
