Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital is looking for 24 hour ER Cardiology call coverage! Must have worked in a joint commission accredited hospital in the last 2 out of 4 years. BID DUE DATE: 10/16/2023 DATES OF COVERAGE: 24hr call 6a-6a 11/6(am) - 11/7(am) 11/20(am) - 11/21(am) 11/29(am) - 12/1(am) 12/4(am) - 12/5(am) 12/13(am) - 12/15(am) DETAILS: Setting: Inpatient Duties: Consult patient in ED and inpatients, collaborate with Hospitalists and Specialists, Supervise Stress Tests (Pharmacological /Exercise), Interpret OP and INPT Echocardiology, Holter, Event Monitors Required Procedures: Ideal Candidate can perform TEE ; optional - Transvenous pacing, tilt table interpretation EMR: Cerner Support Staff: Cardiology Manager, Echocardiographers and Cardiology Technicians Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Admissions per Day: Average 3-4 consults, Supervised stress tests: 4-8, Echo's: 5-12 Types of Cases: Typical "non-interventional" community hospital cardiology cases First day info: Day before first shift (business day) Residency requirements/ Fellowship- Current certification in Internal Medicine and active participation in the certification process leading to added qualifications in cardiovascular medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine to be achieved within five (5) years of completion of residency training, or; Successful completion of an accredited fellowship training program in cardiovascular medicine during which at least three years were devoted to cardiovascular medicine. CREDENTIALING INFORMATION: Timeframe: 5 -7 days once the application received. Offers URGENT privileges! Requirements: the provider must have privileges at a Joint Commission (or equivalent) accredited hospital two of the last four years. Residency requirements below.
