Job Summary:The Manufacturing Supervisor provides strong leadership and direction to ensure fabrication operations consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals. This role is responsible for overseeing the department’s performance, ensuring components are fabricated to exact specifications in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest quality standards. Safety is a top priority—this position enforces all safety protocols, promotes a culture of safety awareness, and ensures compliance with regulatory and company standards. The supervisor will lead a team dedicated to precision fabrication processes, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.This position is based out of our 1711 Scheuring Rd., De Pere, WI location.Duties and Expectations: Direct and oversee all fabrication activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulatory compliance. Supervise fabrication team members, including staffing, training, coaching, and performance management. Ensure all fabricated components meet engineering specifications and quality requirements. Responsible for daily operations on the production floor, including leading team members, scheduling, staffing, training and troubleshooting to ensure that production is in full compliance and meet or exceed safety guidelines. Facilitate departmental workflow to achieve optimal productivity while maintaining high standards on safety, quality, delivery and profitability. Inspire, develop and retain passionate people to work as one team. Lead and encourage cross-functional collaboration. Be a conduit between all operations, design engineering, HR, quality, project managers, etc. Drive a financial acumen within the team. Develop the team’s talent: recruit, select and orientate new team members. Lead by example. Motivate, inspire and develop team members. Provide coaching and development opportunities, recognize successes, identify future leaders and support their progression. Help the team understand performance targets and goals in ways that align with the company’s plans and vision. Lead in objectively appraising employee performance. Lead in situations that may require disciplinary action. Effectively resolve employee conflicts that may arise. Education, Experience, and Skills: Completion of or continuing education towards an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Ability to respond to inquiries effectively and promptly from employees and customers (internal/external) Ability to define and solve problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Minimum of 3-5 years of plant operations experience in various leadership roles Prior sign experience preferred.
