Job Title: Electrical Foreman Job DescriptionThe journeyman electrician supports the installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar carport systems. This role ensures all electrical work meets NEC standards, project specifications, and safety requirements while coordinating closely with site leadership and other trades. This position will involve working at two different sites in Scottsdale for a period of 4-8 weeks.Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test electrical wiring for PV systems, including conduit, wire pulls, disconnects, combiner boxes, and inverters. Read and interpret electrical plans, one-lines, and site drawings to execute work accurately. Perform layout and installation of underground and overhead conduit runs associated with carport structures. Complete AC/DC terminations, grounding, bonding, and equipment mounting per code. Assist with inverter startup, system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities. Work with foremen and superintendents to maintain schedule, quality, and safety standards. Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and project-specific safety protocols. Mentor apprentices and support overall crew productivity. Essential Skills Experience with conduit, construction, conduit bending, and electrical work. 5+ years of electrical experience in a commercial or industrial setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Solar experience is a plus but not required. Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and around heavy equipment. Work EnvironmentThis position involves working in an outdoor environment at a commercial building, installing solar systems on carports. The role requires working at heights and around heavy equipment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
