POSITION OVERVIEW (We provide PAID TRAINING): Scott Home Services is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sewer Line and Radon Measurement Technician to join our team. In this role, you will contribute significantly to our mission of providing the highest-quality inspection services. You will conduct Sewer Line inspections and radon measurements (drop-off and pick-up) to ensure accurate data collection and deliver comprehensive reports to our valued clients. SEWER LINE EVALUATION TECHNICIAN: To inspect/evaluate sewer lines, visit residential and commercial properties using company-provided vehicles or personal transportation. Utilize a sewer scope camera attached to a flexible cable to meticulously examine sewer lines, capturing video footage of potential damage, blockages, and other issues. Compile comprehensive sewer scope reports catering to homeowners, home inspectors, real estate companies, and property management firms. Maintain and clean equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability during fieldwork. RADON MEASUREMENT TECHNICIAN: Efficiently transport Continuous Radon Monitors (CRM) to client locations using either the provided company vehicle or personal transportation. Undergo comprehensive training to acquire fundamental knowledge of radon testing, including its health risks, measurement techniques, and testing protocols. Upload and review Radon test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness before forwarding them to the office for further assessment. Engage with clients to discuss their Radon results, providing clear explanations and addressing any concerns. Prepare detailed Radon reports, compiling critical information for clients' personal records. Pursue certification as a Radon Measurement Tester through esteemed organizations such as The American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST) & The National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP), involving successful completion of NRPP, AARST, NRSB, ICC, and IAC2-approved Radon Measurement Professional Initial Training Courses and exams. WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Push Camera Experience A Radon Tester certification is preferred A valid driver's license DMV and Background checks are required.
