Position Type: Administration/Director Date Posted: 3/3/2026 Location: East Noble High School Date Available: 07/01/2026 Closing Date: 03/20/2026 District: East Noble School Corporation East Noble School Corporation is accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy to be filled with the start of the 2026-2027 School Year: Activities Director Position: The East Noble High School Activities Director is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of a broad range of athletic programs and school activities within East Noble School Corporation. The Activities Director provides leadership to and supervision of employees and volunteer staff for athletic events and other school programs, as well as managing equipment and supplies. The Activities Director reports to the East Noble High School Principal and Superintendent. This is a full-time, 12-month position with medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits. This position will start on July 1, 2026, with the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. Approximate starting salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Apply no later than March 20, 2026 Primary Responsibilities: The Activities Director oversees the Athletic Department budget to ensure the required revenues and expenditures are managed to conduct the total interscholastic athletic program, while in compliance with state law and district policies. The Activities Director works in collaboration with building level administration and central office administration on issues that affect finance, staffing, safety, transportation, food service, facilities, etc. The Activities Director will collaborate with and support the Performing Arts Department at East Noble High School, in coordination with Band, Choir, and Theater Directors. Responsible for recruiting and hiring and staffing of coaches, lay coaches, and/or sponsors for athletics and activities. Ensure school board recommendations for all coaches, lay coaches, and sponsors for extracurricular activities is submitted to the central office. Oversees the inventory of all athletic equipment and supplies and is responsible for the care, maintenance, and storage of all athletic equipment. Provide the same support for the arts programs. Supervise and coordinate a calendar of all school corporation events. Coordinate transportation needs for all traveling athletic and performing arts programs. Coordinate all officials needed for home events and ensure appropriate payment. Coordinate with coaches and directors the eligibility of all athletes and performers. In coordination with building administrators, plan and arrange for pep rallies, award assemblies, senior night, homecoming, etc. In collaboration with the Superintendent provide publicity and press releases concerning athletics and other student activities. Mentor and develop all ENHS coaches and arts directors to build high quality programing for our students. Provide applicable training of coaching staff as required by law. Attend all games, meets, contests, performances or appoint a representative to be present at all activities to ensure proper supervision. Ensure that all athletes have proper physicals and medical documentation on file. Approve all recommendations for student awards submitted by coaches or arts directors. Assume responsibility for the preparation of facilities for activities and sporting events. Have a thorough knowledge of the IHSAA and ISSMA rules and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned by the High School Building Principal or Superintendent The Activities Director will build relationships and collaborate with school administrators, staff, students, parents, and community members.
