About Our Client Located in East Providence, RI Projects located throughout Providence and general surrounding area Established in 1980 Family ran and operated business Markets served: Commercial, Education, Higher-Ed, K-12, Hospitality, Medical, Retail Mixture of renovations and new construction, typically $1M - $5M with some larger projects $10M+ Job Description Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects from inception to completion. Support project managers in ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor project progress and prepare regular updates for stakeholders. Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards throughout all phases of construction. Assist in the procurement of materials and resources for projects. Help with risk management and problem-solving during project execution. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. The Successful Applicant A successful Assistant Project Manager should have: 2+ years of experience in the construction Experience in the field or exposure to the field Strong organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple tasks. Knowledge of construction practices and project management principles. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
