We also provide Virtual Sitter options for the main Mission campus. Travelers will be cross trained on the GE Carescape system and Cerner Patient Observer as a Virtual Sitter Attendant. The Central Monitoring Unit is not located at the hospital in downtown Asheville but roughly 8 miles away with the farthest hospital being over an hour and half away. The facility does not have a Cafeteria, staff will need to bring their own food or they can order out at one of the nearby restaurants. This position requires lots of sitting however the desk do have sit to stand capability. The shifts are 12 hour shifts. 0645-1915 and 1845-0715 with unit huddle beginning at 0653 and 1853.Show more
