DescriptionPosition Title: Quick Lube TechnicianDepartment: Service Employment Status: Full-Time (Non-Exempt) Reports To: Service Manager/Director, Service Operations Director Job Summary: The Quick Lube Technician at Bomnin Automotive is responsible for performing rapid and efficient oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections to maintain the optimal performance and safety of customer vehicles. Key Responsibilities:Vehicle Maintenance: Execute quick and precise oil changes following manufacturer specifications and dealership standards. Perform routine tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs as needed. Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify and report potential issues to the service team. Efficiency and Speed: Complete all service and repair orders with a strong focus on speed and efficiency. Ensure the quick turnaround of customer vehicles while maintaining quality. Quality and Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain the highest quality standards in all maintenance and repair work. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other service department team members to ensure a streamlined workflow. Assist senior technicians and service advisors when required. Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the work area clean and well-organized, including tools, equipment, and service bays. Follow appropriate waste disposal procedures for used materials. Position RequirementsRequirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in quick lube automotive services is advantageous but not mandatory. Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components. Willingness to undergo a skill evaluation assessment. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality service. Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours as needed. Physical Demands: The Quick Lube Technician role may involve physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy objects. Work Environment: The work environment encompasses both indoor and outdoor settings within the service department area.
