Perm - Physician - Family Medicine Elkader IA

MercyOne is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join one Physician & two Nurse Practitioners in Elkader, IA. This is a new position for the clinics and will support the growing community. The community has loyal and longtime patients with the potential to expand and serve even more in the area. Job Description: MercyOne providers and staff are dedicated to offering quality health care services and for you and your family. We offer a wide range of care for patients from newborns to senior citizens. We provide effective treatment for sudden illness, minor injuries, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, management of chronic disease and education. The MercyOne Elkader Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital, which provides a vital lifesaving link to rural communities in Clayton County and surrounding areas through ambulance and emergency services. MercyOne Elkader Medical Center is certified as a Level IV Trauma Center. 36 patient contact hours shared between Elkader and Monona clinics - provider must be willing to work out of both clinic locations PAID Hospital (ED/Inpatient) night call 1-2x/Month 15-20 Patients Daily Leadership Opportunities Lab & X-ray Level IV Trauma Center 25-bed critical access hospital Accepting new graduate candidates Not accepting Locums candidates Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview).
