This internship provides an excellent opportunity to build practical business and supply chain skills while supporting cost-effective purchasing strategies that help the organization operate efficiently.Key Responsibilities: Support the procurement team in sourcing materials, goods, and services. Assist in evaluating supplier quotes, comparing costs, and preparing purchase recommendations. Manage purchase order activities including creation, tracking, and vendor follow-up. Conduct supplier research to identify potential vendors and assess capabilities. Assist with spend analysis to help identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities. Support supplier performance monitoring by collecting data on quality, delivery, and pricing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams-such as operations, finance, and inventory management-to meet purchasing needs and deadlines. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum GPA of 3.0. Must be a sophomore-level student or higher. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of procurement principles, supply chain concepts, or vendor management is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with multiple departments. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks with accuracy and follow-through. What You'll Gain: Hands-on experience in real-world procurement and supply chain activities.
