RN - ORCIS • About Facility: o Licensed for 457 beds o Level 3 Trauma o Stroke center of Excellence o Bariatric center of Excellence o Chest Pain Center o Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit • Department Information: o 19 OR suites - 17 rooms are blocked o About Unit Designations • Bariatric Center of Excellence • Advanced Spine Surgery Certification o Avg 50 Cases per day o Minimum Years of Experience required? 5 Years o Will you accept a first-time traveler? No • Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: o Surgery specialties include, Trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, hearts, MI vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, Robotics (we have three), General, HPB, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Pain, Plastics • Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: o BLS o NC RN license o CNOR preferred but not required • Skills required: o Dependent on needs • Support within the Department: o Service Line Clinical Supervisors, Charge nurses, Educators, ORAs, Unit Secretaries, Tech Engineers • Technology/Equipment: o Unit specific equipment: Too much to list - typical OR equipment • Floating: o None • Orientation (facility and unit): o NEO o 2 days departmental • Scheduling: o Weekend rotation: every other o Call required: Average of 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule • 45-minute response time • 11p-7a or 7a-7p/7p-7a on weekends o Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays o RTO: Manager approval o Shift times: • 7a-7p o Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks • Other notes: o Scrub Color: Provided o Parking: Free o Department Culture: OR Culture You'll never receive recurrent notifications, aggressive phone calls, or overbearing messages from us.
