For additional information, please email Scott W. @Vaccination & Booster encouraged, but declinations accepted & MUST be covid tested 2x/week at traveler/agency cost RN may float to other Units to assist if needed POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Write initial nursing histories, assess patients' conditions, develop individual care plans, and evaluate outcomes of patient care according to accepted standards of practice; consult with other specialists as required and adjust nursing care process as necessary. Document patient care from admission through discharge incorporating the Nursing Process. Administer and document medications with a thorough knowledge of types, dosages, drug interactions and incompatibilities. Practice safety measures in all activities associated with patient care. Support the mission and vision of ARMC. Consistently practice excellent customer service. Teach, delegate, and direct both professional and non-professional nursing staff and interpret the needs of each patient to all persons participating in patient care. Maintain current knowledge relating to new developments and therapeutic measures for total patient care. Participate in the development of nursing policies and procedures and Quality Assurance activities. Follow all Nursing Departmental and Administrative Operations manual policies and procedures. Serve as patient advocate. Attend department in-services and staff development programs. Initiate emergency measures such as Code Blue and Code Red. Maintain and protect all patients' rights to privacy and confidentiality. Perform related duties as assigned or requested. Requirement description : 2+ years of current ICU experience CVICU experience REQUIRED must be able to work & float to tele and stepdown travel experience strongly encouraged Must be able to read Tele Strips Must be able to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia exam at LEAST 1 year of Acute Hospital experience - required Profile Requirements: Work History going back at least 3 years, if applicable to Assignment Skills Checklist At least '1' supervisor reference included.... 2nd to be obtained during onboarding Licenses & Certifications COVID Vaccination card w/ booster, if applicable CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : ACLS (AHA) NIH BLS (AHA) MOAB STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : California Weekend Requirements : TBD - every other weekend On Call Requirements : n/a
