Graveyard Maintenance TechnicianDIRECT HIRE | NO CONTRACT!9:30pm to 6:00am Sunday-ThursdayJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures. This role adheres to standard operating procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies while assisting higher-level technicians.Responsibilities Proactively investigate needs, evaluate issues, and present/recommend alternatives to decrease facility operational downtime and increase operational effectiveness. Locate, identify, and resolve any safety issues with mechanical or electrical devices. Develop and maintain purchasing/inventory controls for repair parts and tool inventories. Support existing and future projects during installations, start-up, and long-term operation. Support daily/weekly asset usage. Assist in daily/weekly training of warehouse personnel. Assist with special projects as directed by management. Continuously seek to improve upon existing methods of operation through research and development. Essential Skills Troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Hydraulics Mechanical expertise Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production or high-volume distribution settings is a plus. Experience with conveyor systems, high-volume washers/dryers/air tumblers.
