Job Description Job Description Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) Location: 501 E Hampden Ave Main Building Overview We are seeking an experienced and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in interventional cardiology procedures and be comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment. This role requires collaboration with physicians, technologists, and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Unit Information Location: Main Building 501 E Hampden Ave Number of Beds: 2 Total Staff: 9 Staffing Model Day Shift: 0700 1630 Night Shift: On-call / variable depending on procedural schedule Equipment GE X-Ray System Philips IVUS / FFR Technology EMR System Meditech Typical Hiring Profile We frequently recruit: Travel Registered Nurses Local CNAs Patient Sitters Required Qualifications (Must Have) Candidates without these skills will not be considered: Previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience Experience with Left Heart Catheterization (LHC) Experience with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Experience with Structural Heart procedures including ASD/PFO closures Ability to work in a high-acuity procedural environment Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Candidates with the following experience will be prioritized: Electrophysiology (EP) experience Typical Procedures Performed The unit performs a variety of cardiovascular procedures including: Left Heart Catheterization (LHC) Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Electrophysiology Studies Cardiac Ablation procedures Ideal Personality Fit The ideal candidate will be: Flexible and adaptable Comfortable in a team-based procedural setting Able to manage rapidly changing clinical situations Detail-oriented and patient-focused Job Requirements Lab
