COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Anyone not receiving the COVID 19 vaccination must sign a declination. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved prior to starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign a Masking Protocol agreement and must mask during the respiratory virus season or as mandated by Infection Prevention.Experience RequirementsTwo (2) years' nursing experienceOne (1) year pediatric experienceHem Onc or Bone Marrow Transplant experience requiredCare of BMT patient day 1-100 preferred.Travel experience at a children's hospital strongly preferredEducation, License, & Certification RequirementsDiploma Nursing degree, Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in nursing (or higher) - Bachelor's degree preferredCurrent State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date.Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart AssociationCurrent PALS certification from the American Heart AssociationAPHON Chemo Certification Shift: 6:30am - 7pm or 6:30pm - 7pm.
