description: This department includes all functions related to operating room services, including intraoperative patient care. It also may include perfusion services, inpatient and/or outpatient services, and other operating room support functions. It does not include PACU, anesthesia functions, pre op holding, and/or central sterile functions. If your department is operating as a combined department with all surgery services combined, please notify FP&A and we can map it to "Surgical Services Combined Without Anesthesia" to provide you with an appropriate benchmark. requirement: Dayshift, 4 10 hour days, 6:30 to 5 subject to change.Education and QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate from an accredited school of nursingLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Credentials in area of practice preferred, such as CNOR, PANAC, and AAOPU for Outpatient.LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: all Patient Care personnel must be initially certified prior to patient care and recertified every two years in American Heart Association BLS.LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS - all registered nurses employed in Nursing Supervision, Med/Surg, Emergency Department, Perioperative Services and ICU must be initially certified within six months of employment and recertified every two years in ACLS.PALS - all Registered Nurses in ER must be initially certified. Med/Surg, Perioperative Services and ICU must be initially certified within six months of employment and recertified every two years in PALS.All BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certified personnel are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the crash cart.LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Has a current California RN license.
