Senior Internal Audit Analyst

Job Responsibilities: -Assists in the development and execution of the annual audit plan. -Conducts risk-based internal audits across the health system. -Assists with the creation of standardized audit procedures, templates, and risk assessment tools. -Evaluates the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. -Prepares detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and management responses. -Performs follow-up audits to ensure remediation of identified issues. -Utilizes data analytics tools to enhance audits and provides continuous monitoring. -Provides oversight to sales tax recovery for taxable items utilized directly on Medicare and Medicaid patients. -Provides guidance and support to junior audit staff in audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting. -Decision Making: The carrying out of non-routine procedures under constantly changing conditions, in conformance with general instructions from a supervisor. --Working Relationships: -Coordinates activities of others (does not supervise). -Leads others in same work performed (does not supervise). -Works directly with patients and/or customers. -Works with internal and / or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. -Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. -Works frequently with individuals at Director level or above.
