Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Req Cert: CA RN Job Description: The Staff Nurse II provides direct patient care to adolescents admitted to the inpatient behavioral health unit. This role is responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team. The Staff Nurse II functions as a patient advocate, educator, and care coordinator, supporting the emotional, psychological, and physical well-being of patients and their families while adhering to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Requirements: -Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred -CA license -BLS -1 year required -experience in behavioral health, adolescent psychiatry, or related field strongly preferred. Shift Specification: 5x8s, 0700-1430 or 1200-2030; no on call float between adult and ADOL as needed; every other weekend.
