Join our Accounting Team today!Shift: Mon-Fri / 8:00am-4:30pm Hourly Wage: $23.00-$25.50 (based on experience) Position: Full-time Duties and responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining general ledger for multiple companies accurately and timely for month end and year end closing processes. Review financial statements, research accounts, and analyze financial records. Responsible for developing spreadsheet reports, verifying information, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts for monthly and yearly closing processes. To include but not limited to third party statements, internal & external software, and reports. Assist with year end financial audits by compiling necessary financial information for CPA firm and responsible for handling gall tax requirements. Analyze current accounting policies and procedures and recommend changes. To include automation of reconciliations where possible for continual process improvements. Responds to information requests, researches, and interprets data to include answering accounting and financial questions. Ability to meet processing and reporting deadlines as required for timely dissemination of defined reports in coordination with Controller. Responsible for Daily banking transactions and associated entries Fluent with Microsoft Dynamics GP, BNA, TMW, TMT, Microsoft Office Suite and all other company mandated equipment & software. Ability to use standard office equipment, computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, etc. Business acumen, organizational skills, communication proficiency, collaboration skills, customer focus and technical capacity Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and agree to companies drug free workplace policies. Physical requirements Ability to sit and walk short distances. Vision abilities; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception Must be able to read, write, talk, and hear.
