Cash Management Supervisor

Department Patient Financial Services Job Summary This leader has accountability and oversight, and supervises the daily activities of the Cash Services department within SBO. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring individual and team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals. This leader is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely posting, reconciliation, and refunding of patient payments in accordance with organizational policies, payer contracts, and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications - Require an Associate's degree. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Bachelor's degree will substitute for the required Associate degree and two (2) years of required experience. - Require a minimum of two (2) years of hospital business experience. Preferred Qualifications - Prefer two (2) years of prior supervisory experience. - Prefer two years of accounting experience. - Prefer Certified Patient Account Technician (CPAT) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) certification. - Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. - Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution. - Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem solving expertise. - Prefer demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills at all levels. - Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and cost center based management.
