Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) Location: Syracuse, NY Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Pay Rate: $58 - $68 per hour (Based on Experience) Job Type: Contract Position Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit (PICU) environment. This role requires strong clinical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill pediatric patients Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as prescribed Monitor and manage life-support systems, ventilators, and critical care equipment Continuously assess vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans Provide education, guidance, and emotional support to patients' families Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies Ensure compliance with PICU protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of New York or compact eligibility if applicable) BSN preferred Minimum 1-2 years of recent Pediatric ICU (PICU) experience required BLS and PALS certifications required ACLS preferred Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical decision-making skills For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-806-4227.
