Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Usability Researcher 2 to join their team. As a Usability Researcher 2, you will be part of the User Experience Research Department supporting product development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Usability Researcher 2 Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week) Pay Range: $48/hr to $51/hr on W2 Duration: until 06/30/2026 (high possibility of extension up to a total of 18 months) What's the Job? Design and apply qualitative and quantitative UX research methods across all product stages from conception to release Conduct lab-based usability tests, interviews, surveys, focus groups, and field research to gather user insights Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for product teams Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and product management teams to influence product direction Communicate research results effectively to diverse audiences, including leadership What's Needed? Minimum 4 years experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods Technical background or experience working in a tech industry environment Degree in human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, behavioral science, or related field Strong portfolio showcasing previous research work and impact Excellent project management and communication skills What's in it for me?
