Locum - Physician - OBGYN Fairfield OH

Bon Secours Mercy Health Fairfield Hospital is looking for OB/GYN locum coverage for both Fairfield Hospital & Mercy West Hospital starting March 2024! Open dates: 12 hour shifts, weekdays and weekends Through October 2024 Job Details: Reason for Coverage: existing independent group leaving hospital Practice Setting: Hospital house doc day shift and hospital house doc night shift (12 hour shifts) No practice scheduled patients Other OB/GYNs not onsite during locum coverage Labs & Ultrasound onsite Level I Nursery EMR: Epic Required Duties & Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.) OB ultrasounds - Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability) OB ultrasounds - Performance of Interpretation Amniocentesis Routine Delivery -Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section Complicated Delivery -C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc. VBAC's Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations Surgical Gynecology - Open Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) - Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA's Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA's, Chromal Tubation Estimated credentialing timeframe: ~60 days; emergency temp privs are avaiable Travel Reimbursement Information: LOCAL PROVIDERS ONLY - Mileage Reimbursement Requirement description : Board Certified - REQUIRED Active OH license - REQUIRED, please do not submit providers needing to obtain license ACLS Certified - REQUIRED Flu vaccine - REQUIRED at time of credentialing COVID Vaccine - Preferred 100% CLEAN BACKGROUIND REQUIRED Weekend Requirements : Yes On Call Requirements : Yes
