Overview: As a Temp - PTA in Long Term Care, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse patient population, including seniors and individuals requiring ongoing care. Your contributions will help improve mobility, balance, and quality of life, ensuring patients receive compassionate, effective therapy in a structured setting. Required Skills: Valid PTA license or certification to practice in Missouri Proven experience assisting with physical therapy treatments, including exercises and mobility support Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff Ability to read and interpret treatment instructions from Physical Therapists Excellent organizational skills for maintaining a clean, organized therapy environment and managing administrative tasks Compassionate demeanor and the ability to motivate patients of all ages Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in Long Term Care or similar settings Bilingual abilities or multilingual communication skills Knowledge of specific therapy techniques such as balance training and mobility assistance Basic understanding of electronic health records (EHR) systems Preferred Education and Experience: Certified Physical Therapist Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred Prior experience in long-term or geriatric care highly advantageous Other Requirements: Must be willing to work weekdays during daytime hours (Days) Ability to lift and move patients safely, complying with safety standards Valid state licensure or certification as required Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification as needed This is a phenomenal chance to advance your clinical skills while making a genuine difference in patients' lives.
