Automotive Service Technician

Benefits Health and dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Paid manufacturer training Tuition reimbursement Employee vehicle purchase plans Family-owned and operated environment Long-term job security and advancement opportunities Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance as specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment to identify issues Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding additional repair needs and estimated completion times Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Prior Service Technician experience preferred but not required Vocational or technical training preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership systems Positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Willingness to learn new technologies, procedures, and manufacturer specifications Valid driver’s license Compensation: Pay is based on experience and certifications.
