CNC MachinistLocation in Clackamas, ORPay rate is $35-$44 (DEO)Job DescriptionJoin our team as a CNC Machinist at a leading manufacturer of precision machined components. We specialize in close tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, and production runs. As a CNC Machinist, you will plan and layout work, set up and operate various CNC mills and lathes, and focus on precision and accuracy. You will inspect parts to ensure they meet tolerance requirements using precision measuring tools like height gauges, calipers, and micrometers, holding tolerances to +/.001.Responsibilities Develop a plan of action to manufacture parts according to drawing specifications. Read and understand production process work instructions and drawings to gain a thorough understanding of requirements. Mitigate risk and solve problems by thinking outside the box. Set up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing process. Set up tools and fixtures. Monitor the production process, think critically, and adjust processes when problems arise. Measure parts throughout the manufacturing process and adjust as needed to ensure compliance with process paper and drawings. Inspect finished parts per drawing. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Additional Skills & Qualifications Advanced experience with CNC machining. Experienced with large complex fabrication projects. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strives to build knowledge and skills continuously; shares expertise with others. Our top-of-the-line CNC and manual machines are used for building large complex parts for government and federal programs. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $44.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
