NEW Permanent ICU RN Full Time, Nights (Rotating Weekends) Destin, Florida Area A top-performing acute care hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join a collaborative and high-acuity critical care team. This is a night shift opportunity in a newly built ICU with strong leadership presence, excellent resources, and a supportive team culture. About the Unit 10-bed Medical/Surgical ICU Private rooms with continuous telemetry monitoring Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2 3 (days and nights) Typical census: 8 10 patients Patient population includes vented patients, vasoactive drips, cardiac, pulmonary, metabolic cases, and low-acuity trauma Average length of stay: 3 4 days Strong teamwork, access to supplies/equipment, and hands-on leadership Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered critical care Perform frequent assessments and manage complex patient conditions autonomously Serve as a patient and family advocate Educate patients and families on medications and treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes Requirements 1 year recent (within last 3 years) ICU, ER, or CVICU experience PCU/IMCU experience considered with 2+ years Active RN license (multistate accepted with ability to obtain state license after hire) BLS required ACLS required within 6 months Associate Degree in Nursing required BSN and CCRN preferred Benefits Highlights Comprehensive medical coverage with low or no-cost options Free telemedicine and medical air transport Dental, vision, life, and disability coverage 401(k) with generous employer match Tuition assistance and certification support Employee stock purchase plan Paid time off, paid family leave, and wellness resources Counseling and employee assistance programs Interested!?
