Mechanical Assembler - Aerospace Location: Woodinville, WA Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM, M-F Pay: $22-28/hr, depending on experience Join a growing aerospace manufacturer offering steady hours, long-term opportunities, and a team-focused environment. We're looking for hands-on assemblers who enjoy building parts, using tools, and working with precision. Responsibilities Assemble major structures and subassemblies using jigs, templates, and fixtures Use hand and power tools for drilling, riveting, deburring, trimming, crimping, and fitting parts Measure and verify part dimensions using calipers and micrometers Read work orders and basic drawings to lay out parts and complete assemblies Perform minor modifications on assemblies when needed Pull and return tools, jigs, and fixtures for each job Package finished assemblies for shipment Monitor quality and follow standard work procedures Essential Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of mechanical or aerospace assembly experience Experience with riveting, nutplates, bonding, bushings, or bearing installation Basic blueprint reading or willingness to learn Good hand skills and ability to work with close tolerances Ability to follow written instructions and complete work orders Reliable attendance and clear communication Nice to Have Experience with MRP/computer-based data entry Interest in learning new tools, processes, and assembly techniques Strong attention to detail and teamwork Why Work Here? Many previous contractors have been promoted to lead roles. Work Environment Work within a large warehouse environment surrounded by machine operating, shipping, and powder coating departments. This fast-paced production environment requires overtime and a flexible schedule. The dress code includes typical manufacturing attire such as steel-toed boots, jeans, and appropriate t-shirts or long-sleeved shirts. Any other required personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodinville, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
