Clinical Supervisor (Rockbridge Counseling) Rockbridge Mental Health and Counseling is seeking a dynamic therapist/supervisor who is passionate about clinical excellence and developing strong clinicians. Job Summary The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision to pre-licensed therapists and master level student interns ("Clinical Trainees") while maintaining a reduced caseload of direct client services. This position functions as a Mental Health Professional as defined by Minnesota Statutes 245I and provides supervision consistent with requirements of the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy and the Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. 60% Clinical Supervision 40% Direct Client Services The position supports the delivery of culturally responsive and spiritually sensitive care aligned with the mission and values of RockBridge Counseling & Mental Health. Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential functions include the following: Clinical Supervision: Establish, review and maintain supervision contracts at the onset of the supervisory relationship; periodically evaluate progress towards supervision goals. Conduct weekly individual and group supervision sessions in accordance with state board requirements. Supervision may occur virtually or in person consistent with regulatory guidance. Missed supervision sessions are documented and rescheduled to meet licensure requirements. Provide consultation and feedback related to: case conceptualization, diagnostic formulation, treatment planning, clinical interventions, risk assessment and crisis management, documentation standards, ethical decision-making. Review and ensure that documentation is timely, accurate, and of high quality, including but not limited to session notes, collateral notes, letters, patient-facing documentation, and communications with clients and/or guardians. Maintain familiarity with professional ethical standards and codes of conduct, including those of the MN Board of Behavioral Health and MN Board of Marriage and Family. Verify and document supervision hours and experience as required by licensing boards. Complete all state-specific forms and required tasks in accordance with applicable state licensing board guidelines and ensure the Clinical Trainee's compliance with all licensing requirements, while assisting Clinical Trainee in meeting licensure requirements. Identify and support the Clinical Trainee's development of effective and ethical clinical practice through ongoing training, education, and feedback, while identifying strengths and addressing areas for improvement. Maintain an accurate supervisory log documenting all supervision activities, including formal and informal sessions, with dates, times, and topics discussed. Remain current on state licensing board regulations, including requirements, updates, and applicable state laws governing clinical practice and supervision. Mental Health Professional Clinical Service Delivery: Provide diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy, and treatment planning within scope of licensure. Function as a Mental Health Professional under MN Statutes 245I including: clinical oversight of services provided by trainees where applicable, ensuring clinical appropriateness of interventions. Maintain an active mental health client caseload consistent with organizational expectations. Complete documentation in compliance with regulatory and payer standards. Participate in case consultation and interdisciplinary collaboration. Demonstrate culturally responsive and spiritually sensitive care. Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications): Minimum of three (3) years of experience providing clinical supervision within mental health services. Must meet the qualifications and scope of practice for a Mental Health Professional as defined in Sec. 245I.04 MN Statutes, required qualifications include: Master's degree or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields. Current licensure in good standing as a LMFT, LPCC, or LP in the state of Minnesota. Must be a board approved supervisor through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy (LPCC) or a board approved supervisor through the Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), both preferred. Ability to learn new technology while gaining proficiency in EMR/EHRs; gain proficiency in new technologies. Exceptional client engagement. Demonstrates advanced clinical competency across a broad range of treatment modalities, diagnoses, patient populations, and clinical presentations. Integrates cultural awareness, humility, and responsiveness into supervision and clinical guidance, demonstrating a sustained commitment to culturally informed and equitable care. Exhibits strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with analytical and reflective practice abilities; provides clear, supportive, and actionable feedback that strengthens clinical skill development, fosters professional growth, and maintains positive supervisory relationships with Clinical Trainees and RockBridge Counseling staff. Demonstrate awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture. At least 1 year of freedom from problematic substances. Comfort and compassion in working with individuals facing life-controlling challenges. Must pass a DHS background study as required under MN Statutes, Chapter 245C and 245I. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time. Total Target Compensation: $85,000-$100,000 (Hybrid compensation model, including a guaranteed base salary plus additional earnings tied to clinical service delivery) Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as education, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule, and/or location.
