Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (Float)

Job Title: Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (Float) Pay: $74.87 an hr | Bi-weekly Job Type: This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs This will be a float position (will float to Speedway, Downtown Indianapolis, Mooresville, Avon, Brownsburg, Greenwood, New Palestine, and Greenfield). Onsite in Bloomington, IN 47401 Shift Options: 3-4 days a week (hours of operation range from 8a-3:30p, 8a-4:30p, or 8a-7p depending on clinic) This position will require working every other weekend with possible holiday rotations. Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Overview: Provide Primary and Family evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. Provide administrative duties to include but not limited to opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment. Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes Perform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition management
