General Maintenance Technician II The General Maintenance Technician II completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs. Pay: $28.50 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Schedule: These positions are on a 12-hour, rotating shift schedule. Below is the shift we are hiring for: 3rd Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:30 am ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older No experience required and on the job training provided No high school diploma, GED or college degree required Preferred Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older A valid State Driver's License is required (MVR Check is Required) 4-11 Years of experience as a General Maintenance Technician Basic knowledge of proper use of power tools, hand tools. Recognize various hardware parts and methods of repair for related tasks. Must possess organizational skills. Must be able to perform unsupervised. Responsibilities: Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary Basic ability to perform tasks such as: Replacing faucets, unclogging drains, simple fixture installations Patching drywall, small touch-up painting Replacing sections of flooring (e.g., tile) Assisting with roof repairs (small leaks) Minor general repairs (door adjustments, tightening fixtures, clearing drains) A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
